With its strong network and expertise, IAR plays a key role in supporting the strategy’s implementation and sits on the steering committee. The Cluster is responsible for promoting bio-based products, facilitating meetings between upstream and downstream actors along the bio-based value chain, guiding innovation priorities…
At the national level, IAR is working closely with several organisations to advance the bioeconomy: Adebiotech, ADEME, GENOPOLE, ACDV, ANIA, INRA, CELC, Carnot 3BCAR and QUALIMENT Institutes, Village by CA, SATT…

INVESTING IN EU BODIES AND CLUSTERS
IAR is strategically positioned within the Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC), which represents the private sector within the Bio-Based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU) Public-Private Partnership (PPP) – set up to create a favourable climate for bioeconomy development and bio-based entrepreneurship in Europe.
IAR is a member of EuropaBio, a trade association which represents the interests of the biotechnology industry in the European Union.
IAR founded intercluster 3Bi – Brokering Bio-Based Innovation, the first European intercluster dedicated to the bioeconomy. It brings together IAR, Biobased Delta (Netherlands), Biovale (United Kingdom) and the Bioeconomy Cluster (Germany).
IAR is also a member of the EC DG GROW Biobased Products Expert Group and the ‘bio-based’ World Economic Forum
