Academy
TAILORED TRAINING
The IAR Academy brings together students, training organisations and bioeconomy companies to help meet Cluster members’ HR needs.
Services:
Pinpointing future and current industry needs
Accreditation for training delivered by our members
Sharing job vacancies, internship and thesis opportunities
ACCREDITED TRAINING
Since 2006, IAR has provided accreditation for the bioeconomy training offered by our members. As a recognised centre of excellence, IAR accreditation enables Cluster members to identify relevant curricula from which to recruit qualified personnel. We currently offer 58 courses. The training courses range from ‘infra-bac’ to Bac+6 and are re-evaluated each year.
IAR accreditation of five of the University of Lille Master of Chemistry courses provides industry recognition of the quality of our professional learning, which matches the high standards across the green chemistry value chain.

HR CLUB AND WORKSHOPS
Through a partnership with UIC Picardie Champagne-Ardenne (The Chemical Industries Union), IAR manages an HR Club for members of both organisations. The aim is to support members in their recruitment process, share information on IAR accredited workshops, discuss current affairs etc.
IAR members are often invited to HR workshops organised in conjunction with Apec and HR firm RH Adéquation. These workshops are sometimes open to the public.
BIOECONOMY CAREER EVENTS
In its role as a bioeconomy ambassador, the Cluster organises and participates in many forums, exhibitions, conferences etc.
For example :
Forum on Industry, Careers and Apprenticeships
Every two years, IAR organises the Forum on Industry, Careers and Apprenticeships. Over one hundred industry professionals attend the event, presenting on bioeconomy career opportunities and raising awareness of entrepreneurship and research in the sector.
